Mary Scharfe
Mary Scharfe is a Manhattan native with fifteen years of experience representing clients as a real estate sales agent, continuing a family tradition of buying and selling real estate. Like her parents, Mary graduated from K-State and holds a finance degree from the College of Business.
Licensed as a sales agent since 2006, Mary served on the Board of Directors of the Manhattan Association of REALTORS for three years as a Director. She currently serves as Director for the Kansas Association of REALTORS representing the local association. Mary is active in the community with the Kiwanis club and is a Past President. In 2021, she was awarded not only Kiwanian of the Year for her club, but also for the District. Mary volunteers at the Flint Hills Breadbasket, earning the Volunteer of the Year award in 2019.
Mary earned the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation in 2017 and completed the licensure to become an Associate Broker in 2014. She graduated from the 2011 Right Track Leadership Program and was awarded by her peers with the REALTOR Spirit Award in both 2011 and 2013.
Mary is the proud parent of her son, William. In her time away from real estate, she enjoys hiking, golf, and running, recently competing at the Tallgrass Tribute 14K on the Konza and the Bill Snyder Half Marathon.
