McKenzie Callahan, a Title I Reading Aid at Lee Elementary, decided to become a teacher after realizing she WANTED to do the job; she didn’t feel like she HAD to. And now she can’t imagine doing anything else. Mrs. Callahan loves that to work with kids in all grades and helps them with their reading comprehension, which she believes can impact all aspects of a child’s time at school.
