Krysten has stepped into a new role this year working with students who require additional support. She has shown herself to be an effective teacher, an advocate for students, and a supporter of her colleagues. Krysten thrives in challenging situations, which is exactly what is needed when working with challenging students. One of Krysten's best characteristics is the joy she receives from working with her students. Her kindness, compassion, and perseverance are what make her the perfect nominee for an Educational Excellence Award.
