Jackie Kirkeby

Ms. Kirkeby was nominated by two of her fellow colleagues for her “can do” attitude and her willingness to take on new challenges. With a long list of accomplishments and service, the most impactful by far is her time spent in the classroom personalizing learning for at-risk math students. Ms. Kirkeby finds joy in helping guide students who are struggling and watching their eyes light up when they get that “ah-ha” moment. Beyond teaching math, Ms. Kirkeby teaches persistence and determination and hopes that her students leave her classroom with the tools and resources to continue growing.
