Gayla Brown has been a Para-Educator at Theodore Roosevelt Elementary School for 20 years. She is committed to her students, full of joy and laughter, and can always be found wearing a quirky headband. Mrs. Brown attributes her long-standing career to loving what she does. She believes in putting children's needs first and shows she cares in small ways like giving a smile or a hug. Students remember Brown for her caring and loving spirit, and of course, her headbands.
