Short answer; Yes, if conditions are right. The long answer has to deal a lot more with your specific situation.
The local real estate market is showing some signs of stabilization, which means that buyers should begin to have more inventory to choose from. More inventory of available homes will lead to sellers pricing their homes based on competition with other listings. And competition for sellers typically indicates that buyers have more ability to negotiate on homes they place offers on – at least more so than they have seen in the past 18 months.
Interest rates should start rising soon as well, which means that if you have been on the fence about buying, sooner rather than later might be more cost-effective than waiting until later.
