Despite the pace at which the market is moving; it’s a great time to buy or sell. Here’s some tips for buyers and sellers to be ready when that perfect home hits the market or when it’s time to sell:
Buyers:
Be prepared to make an offer immediately if you see a home you love. Get pre-approved and have a discussion with all decision makers about what you can afford before you go to see homes.
Be prepared to pay above asking price. If you’re getting a home loan, you’ll have an appraisal to protect you from paying too much.
A “bidding war” might happen where you’re competing with other offers. Try not to stress—you might pay more now, but you’ll save that money with a lower interest rate now vs. waiting until rates increase.
Sellers:
