Drew Horton, a music teacher at Amanda Arnold Elementary, utilized the Alms Grant to purchase a set of ukuleles for his classroom. The ukuleles are small enough to fit in the children’s hands and are easy to learn and play, with fewer strings than a guitar. The kids’ eyes light up with hands-on musical experience and teach each other as they learn. Drew Horton loves to see his student’s excitement and desire to learn more.
