The Alms Group, Manhattan’s newest full-service real estate brokerage firm, celebrated its November 2017 opening by hosting a benefit for the USD 383 FIT Closet and Clothing Exchange. The event took place the evening of Dec. 30 at the Wareham Opera House and featured an acoustic performance by country music recording artist Logan Mize.

Approximately 150 supporters gathered to celebrate and learn more about the mission of the FIT Closet and its effect on the lives of homeless children and their families in the Manhattan area. The Alms Group was thrilled to report that $10,000 was raised through the generous support of the attendees.

The FIT Closet and Clothing Exchange is a USD 383 program that serves children and families in need. Students from Head Start and Pre-K through high school are provided with the necessary essentials – including school supplies, clothing, food and more – to attend school and participate equally with others in class. Last year, USD 383 served nearly 400 homeless children and their families.

The Alms Group is dedicated to combining real estate and philanthropy by donating 100 percent of their brokerage profits to local causes. For further information about their mission or to get started on the path to finding your perfect home, visit thealmsgroup.com.
