Apps in Aggieville

Together with Kansas State University sororities, fraternities, and participating Aggieville businesses, The Alms Group hosted a fun-filled event for students, families, and community members!

We raised $10,000 to support our area elementary schools and to continue recognizing our community’s students, teachers, and schools through our Alms programs.

The most popular event at the kids’ carnival was the dunk tank. Sometimes 50+ kids were in line to dunk their principal!

Competition was tight for the evening's favorite appetizer. Attendees sampled falafel, chips and queso, donut holes, pita and humus, pasta salad, and fried pickles, to name a few.

But the Nico’s and Bergman Elementary team pulled out the win with their bruschetta! With this victory, Bergman will receive an additional grant to benefit their school.

Thank you to everyone who was involved with Apps in Aggieville! This event wouldn’t have been possible without:

  • Aggieville businesses providing the food.

  • Manhattan High School volleyball team members at the check-in tables.

  • K-State sororities and fraternities setting up, breaking down, and running the carnival games, as well as distributing the appetizers.

  • District schools promoting the event to families.

  • The Alms Group agents and staff working behind the scenes.

  • Everyone who attended this event!
